Whilst Del employs Rodney in the family firm, Uncle Albert starts going to the Over-60s Club but comes home one day, bruised and claiming that he was mugged. After refusing to go out for a week, he suddenly takes off, leaving a note to imply he has left home. Del and Rodney eventually find him at the new estate built on the street where he was born, and bring him home. When Albert's old mate Knock-Knock arrives at the flat it turns out that there was no mugging but the two old men got into a fight over an old lady, Dora, from their club.

Poirot visits a garden fete, where a wasps' nest adds to the tension. He meets the son of an old friend who has his girl-friend, a fashion model, with him, and Poirot soon suspects that they are both in danger. He has to solve a mystery which includes cyanide, failing brakes and mixed-up love lives. Meanwhile, Hastings has a new hobby which Poirot finds helpful in cracking the case.

René is to be given a collaboration medal for his help with the removal of Von Flockenstuffen. Unfortunately, this causes the Communist Resistance to place a price on his head. He decides once again to elope with Yvette. Michelle orders René to take the British airmen to the monastery to be picked up by a lightweight plane. Flick also learns of this news, and he and Von Smallhausen have themselves initiated into the brotherhood to gather information and capture the airmen. Unfortunately, René ends up grabbing Edith's hand instead of Yvette's, as the two are rushed aboard the plane bound for England.

Lindsay decides to be a student officer just to goof off and skip classes and persuades Evie to be her partner in crime, but when Lindsay dicovers that there is a thief stealing food from the cafeteria, she suddenly becomes serious about her postion and tries to catch the culprit, only Evie cathes him instead, and the thief ends up being Jeff.

Stephanie doesn't want the glasses because she's afraid her classmates will make fun of her and think that she's a nerd because of the glasses. She feels better about having the glasses when she gets some advice from Steve Urkel, the visiting cousin of D.J.'s friend Julie. Meanwhile, Jesse must choose a best man for the wedding.

Melissa's interview does not go well, and she becomes frustrated with her life. She fears that she may have to give up her son, but Cindy calms her with a heart-to-heart talk. Brenda and Kelly win skydiving lessons from a radio contest.

Although he wants to break it off with her, she has this "psycho-sexual" hold over him and he becomes worried about what George might think if he lets this relationship develop. Elaine confronts the guy in her building and Jerry's relationship maybe in jeopardy when his girlfriend sees his act.
