Danny's nursery school teacher, Claire Prentice, shows Steven some of Danny's drawings--drawings that reveal a deeply troubled little boy. Clay shows up at Sammy Jo's door and proposes a Las Vegas wedding. Alexis uses the information she requested on Michael Culhane to expose his charade to Amanda. He pleads with Amanda to believe his love for her is real, confessing he loaned the money to her father and promising to never use it against him--as long as she keeps the information secret. Suffering from the pressure of Caress' blackmailing schemes, Emily goes to Buck with the truth that she was with Ben the night of Blake's mother's death. Fleeing from Buck's drunken, verbal abuse, Emily runs blindly in front of a speeding taxi, throwing her apparently lifeless body to the pavement.

Dr. Albert Obgrabco is experimenting with particle collisions on Texton moon, trying to prove his theory on parallel universes. Sam the super accelerator computer tries to take over as Obgrabco is clearly nuts, and Obgrabco takes control of the project, introducing a virus to control Sam, who manages to get an SOS off to BETA first. The Rangers get sent, and Obgrabco tries to get rid of them by stranding them in the accelerator chamber. Goose gets trapped inside Sam, a whole is punched through to another universe, and Sam is merged with an extra-dimensional being.

Rex attempts to locate the missing Ace but only finds his discarded wristcom and soon comes under attack by Terror's forces. Ace is brought in front of Naro, who plans to take over Atlantis once more. Dr. Terror meets with Naro and plots to take control over the black hole. However Phisto can't control the black hole and it's up to the Centurions to fight Terror's cyborgs, evacuate Atlantis and prevent the growth of the ever-expanding black hole.

A new surface-to-Atlantis rail shuttle is opened by Princess Diana, with the Centurions in attendance. During its inaugural journey, the train comes under attack by Doc Terror's forces and the Centurions engage them in battle. During the fight, Diana's cousin Naro and the evil physicist Phisto escape from Atlantis' prison. Phisto then creates an artificial micro black hole which soon attracts the attention of Doc Terror. After the battle with Terror's borgs, Ace is sent to look for Naro and Phisto whereabouts, but is ambushed by Naro's henchmen and knocked unconscious, now completely at their mercy...
