A regular series followed the next year, premiering on September 16, 1985 as part of the new weekday/weekend morning programming block called The Funtastic World of Hanna-Barbera. The series was later rerun on the USA Cartoon Express.

A spaceship crash lands on Planet Pollux appearing to be filled with slaves trying to escape from Planet Doom. Sven and Bandor take them back to the castle for medical treatment. Romelle encounters one patient wearing a mask. She tries to get him to remove it, but he refuses. Bandor tells Sven that his house is on fire. Sven rushes home to find Witch Haggar waiting for him. He also discovers that the masked man and the other slaves were actually sent by Prince Lotor, and have taken the castle hostage. Haggar plans to use Sven to set a trap for the Voltron Force.

Mark runs over a girl and overwrought with guilt, he is approached by a man named Jabez Stone, who offers to let the girl live if Mark gives his boss, the Devil, his soul. Mark signs a contract thinking that it's a con or something. But when the girl lives Mark turns to Jonathan but Jonathan says that there are rules about interefering with another entity even if it's the Devil. Mark's only hope is for them to get the contract. Jonathan enlists the aid of a grifter named C.J. Barabbas to help them. Only problem C.J.'s amoral. Now he approaches Stone and tells him of what Jonathan is planning, on the night that Stone's boss is suppose to take possession of Mark, Jonathan puts his plan in action but is caught and arrested. And Stone has the contract and his boss arrives and they go to Mark and when Stone opens the contract he is shocked to discover it isn't the contract. It seems that Barabbas' duplicity was all part of the plan. Jonathan who has the real contract, then destroys it savin

MUMM-RA has a phial of miniaturization gas. VULTUREMAN builds a mechanical WOLFRAT to infiltrate the gas into the Cats' Lair. The THUNDERCATS are immediately reduced to nine inches high. Knowing how vulnerable the THUNDERCATS are in this state, MUMM-RA orchestrates a MUTANT attack on the Cats' Lair. The THUNDERCATS' only hope is SNARF; they armor SNARF and use him as a battle charger while TYGRA works on an antidote. The THUNDERCATS finally take the antidote, and SNARF, getting an accidental whiff of it, grows to huge proportions. In his gigantic state, SNARF terrifies the MUTANTS and puts them to flight.

Cossack gives Hunk and ultimatum: Hand over the key to the Yellow Lion, or the kids have had it!
