A father and son criminal duo steal Boss' silver from the Boar's Nest and hide out in a house owned by Hezechiah Pringle, which he left to his niece, Mary Lou Pringle. When Mary Lou returns to Hazzard to sell the house, the crooks try to scare her off by staging a series of paranormal events. She turns to Bo and Luke for help, who are on the run from Rosco because Boss is convinced they are the silver thieves and therefore ordered Rosco to arrest them for the theft.

He also meets Reinhold, one of Pums’s men. Reinhold is tired of his woman, Fränze, and wants Franz to take her off his hands. Franz has her come over and makes love with her. She returns to him after she can’t find Reinhold. Reinhold then employs the same plan with his current woman, Cilly, whom Franz accommodates after getting rid of Fränze.

Browsing through an old book of magic spells, Tony accidentally turns Miss Piggy into stone. He considers bringing her to a stonemason for help. Fozzie, Gonzo and Floyd crack stone jokes as Kermit and Tony try to find a spell to change her back. Of course, the show must go on, and the Piggy statue takes the stage for "Pigs in Space".

It is quite apparent that the marshmen desire entry into the spaceship. Meanwhile, as a curious marshchild shadows the Doctor, a group of teen rebels decides to take over the TARDIS.
