Walter is a nervous wreck as the Findlays get a tax audit but the tax auditor, Harvey Clarke, turns out to be a man who tried to rape Maude 31 years ago in Boston, Massachusetts. When she tells Walter he doesn't want to do anything about it, but Maude can't let it go and decides to refresh his memory.

Richie buys tickets to a rock and roll show from Fonzie but has to work at the hardware store when Howard needs to have his tonsils removed. Because he'll be working until 9:00 PM, he won't be able to go to the show, so he asks Fonzie for a refund. Later, Howard tells Richie that he can close the store at 5:00 PM leaving him free to go to the show. He, now, has to ask Fonzie for the tickets back.

Neither she nor her parents want the child, and they send it with Matt. Matt finds the only logical choice, Miss Kitty, to deposit the baby with till something can be done with it. Matt decides to give it to the widow of the man he just killed but doesn't realize that Kitty is willing to sell the Long Branch to keep the baby for herself.

But even with Tony's help, the bad guys figure out the doctor is not really dead, and kidnap him with plans to sell him to the highest bidder.
