Jethro asks, Miss Jane accepts & Jethro runs. Later Miss Jane reluctantly turns down his proposal.

Buck Cannon jeopardizes his life, when he tries to turn two Apaches into wranglers. Sourdough and Saddleblanket quickly become valuable hands. When an Apache war party kills three ranchers and kidnaps the two Indian wranglers, all but Buck believes the two Apaches are killers and have reverted to their old ways. The High Chaparral group tracks the war party to an Army fort the Indians have captured and where Buck lies seriously wounded beyond reach of his comrades. Almost dying of thirst, Buck's only chance for survival lies in an appeal to his Indian wranglers inside the fort to turn on their fellow Apaches.
On holiday and going to meet Rollin at a mountain lodge, Jim stops off in a small town. However, a young couple drop a package containing a gas gun. Exposed, an old man named Doc takes Jim prisoner. The town is populated entirely by enemy agents and they plan to kill a Societ defector in L.A. Doc shoots Jim with curare and the young couple head off to kill the defector. When Rollin arrives, Doc claims Jim had a stroke and can't be moved, but Jim clues him in by blinking a warning in Morse code. Rollin mobilizes the team. Cinnamon goes in as Mrs. Jim and Barney as her chauffeur, and Willy as a trucker. Together the four of them have to get Jim out and thwart the assassination plot.
Has Colonel Hogan finally snapped under the pressure of confinement? The men think so when Hogan suggests that, to rescue a captured British agent, the men of Stalag 13 take up basket weaving, tent making and kite flying!
Leaving a race Speed has just won Speed and Trixie are shot at by Omar's men. Arriving in Hawaii Spittle and Chim Chim get involved in an another attack by Omar's men. Speed figures out that he and Trixie were not the real targets the first time but they were given something in Hawaii that has made them targets. Speed examines the lay given to him by a girl and discovers some microfilm. Taking it to the library he finds out that the film are the plans for a new laser gun and is saved by the Kana from more of Omar's men. Kana is captured by Omar's men and taken to an island on which they are building the laser gun. Spittle and Chim Chim are captured. They all escape when Omar tries to test the gun on them. They then have to escape a laser tank Speed Racer disables the tank with the homing robot. The tank and island then blow up. Trixie says that they still have time to make Speed's next race.
Speed enters the Mach Five in a demolition derby to convince a once-famous racer to be a real racer again.

Samantha suggests that McTavish find some other place to haunt, and he haunts her house! Then McTavish realizes that he is an excellent tourist attraction and decides to go back home.
During a night on the town, Eve Whitfield kills an armed robber who tries to shoot her. When he turns out to be a boy just turned seventeen, she doubts her abilities as a police officer, particularly when half of the town seems convinced that he was a model teenager. It soon turns out that this is far from the truth.
