He attends Gotham City's annual headdress ball disguised as the Three-tailed Pasha Of Panchagorum, and snatches a large ruby off of columnist Hattie Hatfield's headdress. The villain makes a getaway, but not before turning Batman's cowl pink with a radioactive spray. He trails Batman to the Atomic Energy Laboratory, knowing he will have a chance to snatch his cowl when it is removed for decontamination.
The Mayor of Bugtussle arrives & the Clampett's roll out the red carpet to welcome him. The Mayor tells Mr Drysdale he needs money for the city funds & wanted to ask Jed but couldn't. Mr Drysdale asks how much he needs & the Mayor says $100,000 should cover it. Mr Drysdale refuses & The Mayor goes back to Jed. He wanted to ask Jed but Jethro interupted & Jed tells Granny He thinks the Mayor wants to ask her to marry. Later Mr Drysdale arrives with the cheque & the Mayor leaves in a hurry.
Athena the girl from the green dimension who hypnotised Dr Smith during thier space flight arrives on the planet. She still is in love with Dr Smith, which he uses to bribe her to help him see the future. However, he promises to go back to the green dimension with him, and when Athena's previous suitor arrives and turns Will green, Dr Smith must find a way to save himself and Will. Urso, Athena's suitor challenges Dr Smith for the lady, customary in the Green Dimension, and after seeing the future, Dr Smith fears the worst. Athena realises he cannot be with her, and leaves with Urso, but not before Urso restores Will's colour.

Not believing their accomplice's true story that he lost the money when it fell off the train due to his gunshot injury, the three robbers hold Kimble, a widow named Laura Craig, as well as a park ranger who happens by, while torturing the man for the location of the money.
