After being taken advantage of sexually and kidnapping a cat to secure two votes, Eliseo recruits a vagrant to shore up the final vote, but the move backfires when the vagrant gets too comfortable in a tenant's apartment.

Eliseo watches the vote unfold from a baby monitor. Believing that he has the votes to tank the project, Eliseo is blindsided when Eugenia votes in favor of the pool project, in spite of his duplicitous gesture of returning her cat Kiwi. Paola and Thiago visit the dejected Eliseo, but he is hardly in the mood to welcome them. All that's left for him is to bring the new janitorial team up to speed.

Upon learning that Thiago is still inside, Eliseo heroically races into the burning building and returns minutes later with the boy in his hands. At the same time, he tries to make inroads with Paola, the babysitter of Thiago, a young boy who lives in the condominium. As Eliseo lifts the spirits of Nacho, he realizes that he may have lifted them too much when Nacho asks Paola out on a date, leading him to smear Nacho's standing with his crush.

After a search of Zambrano's house fails to result in anything compromising, Eliseo moves to invent a lover and cause marital problems in the Zambrano household, and enlists the help of a delivery girl who has a score to settle with the penny-pinching Zambrano.
