All three struggled throughout the challenge, but Laura's performance in the kitchen impress Nobu and was declared safe with the quality of her dish despite missing out one of the elements while both Byron and Sam were criticised for their inconsistent presentation of their plates. A single snapper bone that was found in one of Sam's dishes resulted in her elimination.
