Season 2, Episode 7
It's called the speed limit of the universe. Einstein blew all of our minds when he worked out the Theory of Relativity, and showed that space and time were malleable substances. He also theorized that we as humans can never travel faster than the speed of light, which leaves the stars and other galaxies almost impossibly out of our reach. But the dreams of Star Wars and Star Trek are not dead. In fact, there could be ways to travel faster than the speed of light - and some of them are already being tested in labs around the world.

After debating whether to show his face after the tumultuous year he's had, Joe ultimately decides to go to his -year college reunion. On the same evening, per the Mayor's request, Mel goes out to dinner with an artist to discuss bringing his installations to Toledo. But when Mel gets a call from a depressed Joe at his reunion, she rushes over there to surprise him by posing as his girlfriend and save the day - only to realize that in the meantime, Joe has found and reconnected with an old flame. And Lennox and Ryder decide to throw a party with Mel and Joe out for the evening, but it does not go as planned.

Franklin and bash are unfortunately placed under house arrest for hours to teach them to act more professional in the courtroom. The president of Infeld gets a visit from his niece but things all men get that from their when she hopes the judge will reduce or drop the charges of possessing marijuana. Carmen gets a surprise when her ex boyfriend shows up causing Pindar to represent her in court and try to clear her name with an unusual claim that will hopefully get rid of the charges against her.
