A collection of 2500 free-roaming rats have hoarded Glen out of his home and into a shed on his property. Originally bred as pets, the rat collection spun out of control upon the death of his wife. Now Glen needs help removing the animals so he can return home, but he has insisted that they be saved and adopted out. Lisa has hoarded her father's house both inside and out. More than 30 cats roam freely through the clutter and he is threatening to evict her and her pets. Lisa will not be allowed back in until she cleans the house, and gets rid of her dozens of animals.

Host James Lipton first invited Carrey 17 years ago to appear on the show and on the night of the memorable taping, told the audience Carrey is worth the "17 years of foreplay."Leaving no stone unturned, Lipton courses through Carrey's early days as a class clown in school to the janitorial job he had to take in order to support his family. Carrey talks about how he developed his character for Ace Ventura and reveals that his technique was similar to Anthony Hopkins method for creating Hannibal Lector. Carrey traverses his career from In Living Color, The Mask, The Truman Show, and his most recent blockbuster hit, I Love You, Phillip Morris, which was just nominated in the category of "Best Comedy" for the 16th Annual Critics' Choice Movie Awards.

While transporting a tank back to the barracks, the boys defy orders by stopping off at a service station for a bit of breakfast. Charlie is so worried that Sergeant Thomson will be angry that the boys decide to add to his anxiety by hiding the tank from him. This sparks off a chain of events that sees Gary having to call in all sorts of favours in order to stay one step ahead of Thomson, something that becomes increasingly difficult when Julie gets involved.

In Spokane, Washington, an old pharmacy turned restaurant serving up their own pancetta with scratch made pasta, and a pulled pork sandwich with an Asian twist. And in Champlin, Minnesota, a bunch of Triple D fans show off their favorite bar-b-que joint.

The security cameras are removed and Trudy returns to the house. Mick excels in training thanks to Mara and the two end up kissing. Sibuna returns to the cellar to find proof of the elixir, and come face to face with something terrifying - a pair of zombies. Alfie and Jerome admit that they were the "zombies" down in the cellar. Later they get into trouble with Jason for conning the younger years into paying to audition for the school play. Patricia hides the elixir sample they took from the cellar, while Nina visits Sarah who tells the former that she and Rufus used to play together as children and she also seems to suggest that Victor killed her parents. At the end of the episode, Mara overhears Mick saying that he could never see himself with Mara, upsetting the latter.
