Laurie is completely at a loss on how to take care of a baby until her maternal instincts eventually kick in. Donna gets mad at Eric for thinking that she'll stay home with the children when they have their own. And Hyde and Fez mediate a mock divorce settlement between Jackie and Kelso after Jackie crashes Kelso's van.

When Max and Zack discover that Lydecker was not behind Brin's disappearance, they have no choice but to team up with Lydecker to find their lost sister.

Ava reveals to Liz that Rath & Lonnie murdered Zan. Tess is kidnapped by the dupes after Max learns of their true intentions. When Max finally finds Tess she reveals that they tried to read her mind to find the Granolith but she resisted. She then says that they're gone but did they die or are they still out there? Ava says goodbye to Liz and leaves Roswell.

Maya and Darnell plan to renew their wedding vows, and Joan agrees to hold the event at her house. However, Joan constantly disagrees with Maya's choices and tries to mold the event into her own dream wedding. Maya tells Joan that she no longer wants her to be a bridesmaid, and later rebuffs her apology and takes her to task for constantly looking down on Maya. Meanwhile, Toni grows concerned by the tendency for black men to marry outside of their race. She determines that she and Lynn must do what they can to bring William ""back to the fold.""

There is cause for alarm when the Camden's disapprove of Simon's new group of friends, one of whom insults Annie and Lucy with his chauvinistic remarks. Norton, the kid that Simon befriends is a fan of violent rap whose negative attitude towards women seems to be influenced by misogynist lyrics. At the same time, Eric and Annie confront Simon about his newfound interest in rap music and somewhat misogynist attitude towards women. Heather gets back in touch with Matt, but Matt is unsure of her intentions. He then finds out that she is dating someone else AGAIN!

Season 2, Episode 8
Mauser is testing a new anti-gravity device designed to capture and hold a Bailey in place. Cleo is the guinea pig. She is caught in a pair of laser beams and suspended a few feet off the floor. Sarge and Hel tease Mauser about some of his devices that didn't work out quite as planned. Cleo is starting to feel a little woozy. Sarge says if it can hold Cleo... Cleo objects, wanting to know if that was a fat joke. Voice interrupts to say that the invention is no joke. They are going to capture a Bailey and Cleo is the key. Aboveground a Bailey approaches Cleo, who is lying on the ground with the energy pod next to her. When the Bailey gets close, Hel and Sarge set off the device that should hold the Bailey in place. It seems to work -- the Bailey is immobilized. But then the device malfunctions, and the Bailey gets free. Sarge yells at Cleo to get out of there. Cleo does, but then realizes that the pod was left behind and goes back for it, dodging blasts from the Bailey. Sarge and Hel co

Becker decides to quit smoking -- unfortunately, on a day when nothing goes right; Margaret is worried that her marriage is falling apart when her husband plans a trip to Atlantic City without her; when Linda keeps screwing up an X-ray, she convinces an old woman that she's crazy to get the woman to keep coming in for new X-rays; Bob, instead of fixing Becker's broken radiator, sleeps in Becker's bed and breaks his clock radio; and Reggie makes Becker do a memory test for a school project.

While coping with work demands, a recovering alcholic husband and a disturbing visit with her parents, Yokas confronts her long held beliefs and emotions. A group of prisoners escape from a delivery truck. Yokas and Fred have another big fight in which she accuses him of drinking again. She tells him that she had an abortion. He wants her to leave the house, this makes her stay over at her parents home. However, by the end of the episode, they are back together, she realises that she can't live without him and that she is sorry for accusing him of still drinking. Meanwhile, Bosco gets a bunch of flowers from a former lover. He smells the flowers which turn out to be poison Ivy. Bosco and Yokas also have a fight when she tells him that she had an abortion. He accuses her of lying to him and he refuses to speak to her, until she forces him to go the hospital to sort out the poison Ivy problem. She regrets lying to him.

Season 1, Episode 9
Christine and Don convince Kim to sell her sleeve guards, which she's dubbed ""arm-prins,"" at a craft fair, while Jimmy convinces Christine to bring the kids to watch him play in a security guards' softball game. Greg is upset that he'll have to take care of Sam himself while Kim is setting up her new business, so he voices his displeasure and hurts her feelings by calling her arm-prins stupid. Jimmy feels castrated when his boss, Lloyd, benches him, and lures Christine into the game for need of a female player. Greg is forced to watch a Blue's Clues video with Sam over and over again, as it's the only thing that will keep him quiet. Soon, Greg has sat through the show so many times, he begins dreaming he's starring in it. Kim becomes dejected when the arm-prins bomb, just like Greg said they would. Greg makes it up to her by saying she's a much better housekeeper and parent than he'll ever be, and the most important job she can ever have is at home.
