Three old men from Yorkshire who have never grown up face the trials of their fellow town citizens and everyday life and stay young by reminiscing about the days of their youth and attempting feats not common to the elderly.
Turk finds out, that Carla is pregnant, before she does, so J.D. convinces Turk to tell the entire hospital staff to surprise Carla with the news. But Carla wants to personally share her baby news with everybody, so Turk and J.D. have to quickly contain the hospital gossip. Meanwhile, when Elliot puts Dr. Cox into an embarrassing situation, he decides to get even with Elliot through Keith and Carla.

Sherman and Joelle Young work opposite shifts at their jobs, with Dad watching the kids during the day while Mom works, and then handing them off to Mom before going to work at 4:30 p.m. They barely see each other six days a week. Well-behaved oldest child Dylan, 13, is often pressed into service as a babysitter or overshadowed by his siblings, Shermie, 5, and Shelby, 3, who are literally climbing the walls. Shermie is rambunctious, disrespectful, aggressive and hits his mother. During timeout, he'll run all the way out the door and up a tree, and Shelby is no better. She's apt to pull every book off the house's shelves when angered, eats dinner in front of the TV instead of with the family, and both tykes refuse to stay out of Dylan's room. Joelle copes by yelling a lot, which the kids ignore, and Dad has no idea how to engage with his children.

Toby is being pressured by the Attorney General, Blake, to reveal his source and it's affecting his relationship with his kids. He tries a little psychological warfare of his own to get Blake to back down. Toby is also giving Josh campaign advice which includes plans to increase courtship of the Latino vote. Elsewhere on the campaign trail, it's Halloween and Toby's kids and Santos' kids are dressing up for the occasion.

During their investigation, they learn that Eric had been looking into the files of Dr. Everett Janns, an OB/GYN who had examined his sister Nikki's boyfriend Drew's mother years earlier when she had been carrying his sister Lisa. Lisa Ramsey was born with spina bifida, and Victoria Carson was suing her primary OB/GYN, Dr. Dominic McKenna, with a wrongful life suit, charging that he did not perform the necessary tests needed to establish whether or not her child had spina bifida, which would have influenced whether or not she had an abortion.
