Eric decides to "moon and trench" Old Man Shinsky's beautiful yard. Kelso, because Eric didn't make him First Lieutenant, takes his revenge on Eric, but that backfires on them both. And Hyde succumbs to the corporate life, which Jackie finds very sexy.

Gina's high school friend Donna comes to town, recently separated from her husband. Joey, who has had a huge crush on Donna for years, is happier than ever when they start going out. However, Donna confides in Gina that her husband wants to reconcile, and begs her not to tell Joey. Meanwhile, Michael is startled to discover that he was a great baseball player when he was younger.

After Chris quits his gig the night of the club opening, Haley must face her fear of performing to save the night for Peyton. Although Mouth tends to Brooke while she is drunk, Felix sneaks in and attempts to take the credit. Keith and Jules realize their relationship has reached a new level, while Dan deliberately tells Karen that Deb slept with Keith.

Brent even enlists Lacey's help, only to find out that in a favour war, you have to choose your allies carefully. Meanwhile Karen drives everybody crazy with her new hacky-sack and Oscar is thrilled when he finds a perfectly good pair of pants in the ditch.

Meanwhile, Logan causes a public relations nightmare for his movie star parents Aaron and Lynn Echolls when footage of him organizing boxing matches between homeless men is posted on the internet and leaked to the media. Later, Veronica and Keith learn that the man who admitted to murdering Lilly is set to be executed, but a second look at crime scene photographs puts his confession in question.

Meanwhile, Harvey's boss, Phil Ken Sebben, takes $12 billion from the powerful guitar lobby to fund his presidential campaign. Not that that would make him beholden to them. And Peanut and Baba Looey get into trouble when they get their hands on Quick Draw's private guitar arsenal.

Meanwhile, Sam begrudgingly mentors the girlfriend of casino owner Gavin Brunson (guest star James McDaniel), until Sam discovers that her seemingly innocent understudy is scheming to get her fired.

When Jake surreptitiously informs Andy that Ephram came to him for a STD test, Andy and Harold decide the best plan of action is to convince Ephram and Amy to hold off on sex. Of course, when Ephram realizes it's no coincidence that he and Amy both had a heart-to-heart with their fathers on the same day and informs her of his suspicions, Amy feels betrayed that Ephram didn't tell her about the test beforehand. In another part of town, Nina finally decides it's time to tell Andy how she feels about him and asks him out to dinner, and Bright invites a lovestruck Hannah to go with him to a movie, but the night takes a turn for the worst when Hannah misinterprets his interest.

Season 1, Episode 3
Ewan and Charley are on the road to Kazakhstan. They notice how both the terrain and people have changed. At the border they are met by a welcoming committee. Almost immediately they encounter the horrible roads they've been dreading. Claudio (the cameraman) falls first. Later Ewan admits to being scared about falling off and nervous about the bad roads. The second greatest problem for Ewan and Charley are the constant police escorts: the last thing they want, they are quickly growing very tired of them. Another welcoming committee which although the guys appreciate, they want to be unfettered in their journey. A light moment filming a herd of giant woolly camels quickly turns heavy. A very rattled looking Ewan and Charley tell how a man in a car just pointed a gun at them. Another police escort takes the guys to a roadside turnout filled with more police cars and television cameras. Ewan is confused and upset. A policeman offers his house as a rest spot.
