The Solomons discover a brand of new collectibles called Fuzzy Buddies (a parody of Beanie Babies) when eating at a fast food diner, and Dick soon becomes so obsessed with collecting them that he begins to lose control of his family's finances. Tommy's coach is annoyed at his lack of team 'pep' and so makes him the school mascot - a giant owl called Hootie. Things goes wrong, however, when Tommy becomes so high on school pep that he attacks the coach.

The school board finds out that Wednesday and Pugsley have never been to school, and insists that they be enrolled immediately. Gomez and Morticia are rightly concerned about how the first day of school would be for the kids. Wednesday and Pugsley return with the horror of a dragon being killed in Grimm's Fairy Tales. But everything is straightened out when the school board reps come to the Addams house.

He becomes concerned after learning that his chat room girlfriend works at a department store and has a large collection of troll dolls. When he confirms that it is Mimi, Drew begins showering compulsively. He feels extremely awkward when he and Mimi run into each other while visiting Wick in rehab. Mimi does not realize that she was involved with Drew, and is angry that she hasn't heard from her online man for a while. Drew gets really drunk and writes her a kiss-off note in which he claims to be Bill Clinton. Meanwhile, Oswald grows concerned about his mother's financial status after her birthday check to him bounces. In the middle of a typical in-law squabble, Dharma and Greg answer an emergency call and rush to hospital. There they find a partially immobilized Pete, who has dislocated both shoulders in a bizarre car accident. Greg is not too pleased at Dharma's offer to nurse Pete back to health, and after a traumatic visit to Pete's apartment to pick up his cat gives her far too much insight into Pete's life (or lack thereof) Dharma finds herself committed to cleansing her house guest both physically and spiritually. Meanwhile, Kitty convinces Abby's ""Save the Ducks"" fund raising committee that rather than making $800 with a bake sale, they can raise $80,000 with a fancy celebrity dinner featuring ""Alan Alda, or one of the Baldwin boys."" Trouble is when the event gets under way, the celebrity turns out to be not exactly environmentally aware Andrew Dice Clay. Vlad and Gomez have a most interesting duel of various instruments (including pillows and thumb wrestling).
