The League of Gentlemen
Season 2, Episode 4
The League of Gentlemen is a British sitcom broadcast on BBC Two over three series from 1999 to 2002. In the fictional Northern England town of Royston Vasey—based on Bacup, Lancashire—the lives are explored of dozens of bizarre citizens, much of whom are played by three of the show's four writers—Mark Gatiss, Steve Pemberton, and Reece Shearsmith—who, along with Jeremy Dyson, formed the titular comedy troupe in 1995. The programme was followed by a film in 2005, and a three-part revival miniseries in December 2017 to celebrate the group's 20th anniversary.

Hal, one of the project managers, secretly loans Sid a prototype of one of the company's latest developments - a device known as an image enhancer. With the help of his friend Deb, Sid is able to acquire the image of good looking co-worker Chad Warner and soon Sid is stepping out on the town with his new and improved look.

Steve and Mimi buy a trailer and plan a trip to Dollywood. Mr. Soulard orders Mimi to alter her appearance and remove all personal items from her desk. When she objects, he puts walls around her desk so that she can't be seen by visitors. Mimi refuses to stay in her office, and Mr. Soulard fires her for failing to answer her phone. She and Steve decide to leave with the trailer, and never plan to return. They announce their plans when they stop by Drew's house to pick up some of Steve's belongings. A jubilant Drew offers to take their truck to the gas station for a fill-up; but has it stolen when he goes inside for a pretzel. Mimi and Steve are left stranded in Drew's yard, and cannot get a new truck because Steve allowed their insurance to lapse. Drew grows tired of the couple's monopolization of his food and utilities, and sickened by the continuous rocking of the trailer. Season 4, Episode 14
Paul's cheap dentist puts braces on James instead of removing his infected tooth, causing problems in James' date with the new mail girl. The city's raffle to raise money for the Big Buddy program is screwed up when Paul skimps on the raffle tickets. Stuart and Carter blackmail Caitlin to decrease their workload.

Joey questions Dawson's state of mind when he and Pacey decide to lead their friends to a secret location party hosted by a group infamous for their complete and utter debauchery. Back at home, Jack's ex-girlfriend arrives from Rhode Island nursing a broken heart but is unaware of Jack's coming out last year and Jen's first date with Henry is a Valentine's Day she won't soon forget.
