After trapping Chase Young in the Sphere of Yun, Jack and his newest partner, Cyclops, take over his lair. He then proceeds to attack the Xiaolin Temple, stealing Shen-Gong-Wu from the vault. Omi later frees Chase using the Reversing Mirror, returning the 'favor' he owed him from earlier. The other Warriors do not know Omi freed him. Chase slowly tries to mold Omi into the true evil warrior he knows the young monk will become.

Chase Young is looking for an apprentice. Either Katnappé or Jack will be able to win it. Katnappé has reprogrammed the Warriors' U-bots to be evil. Master Fung informs the Warriors that their new threat is Chase Young, and he must teach the four monks to be deceptive in order to triumph. However, Omi is too trustworthy. After Chase chooses Katnappé to be his apprentice, Jack turns to the Warriors and asks to join the side of good. Omi trains Jack the best he can to release all the evil that is inside of him, but after Katnappé attacks the Temple, Jack takes off with the Warriors' Wu, which tests Omi's trust.

But the investigation takes a turn when they learn that the lead engineer is found murdered.

Brock not spending enough time with Jake decides to coach a football team on which Jake will try out for. After the first practice, Brock tells the others how pathetic Jake was, not knowing how great of a time Jake had. Reba decides that they will improve his skills by getting Van to train him. Van, being emotional, doesn't want to because of memories of him with his dad. Barbra Jean, having played football as a girl and later coaching a woman's prison team, decides to coach Jake with Reba's help. When Jake finds out that he might be cut, he doesn't think Brock will still love him. Van finally agrees to help out and Jake makes the team - but not for long as he's banned for being too agressive!

The series concludes with the gangbangers taking out their assault on the 55th Precinct. After some grenade explosions, the precinct is destroyed. Cruz knows that Marcel Hollis is behind the attack, and she takes his life, as well as her own. Carlos proposes to Holly, and they are married. Everyone receives their reassignments, and Sully retires. In the last few moments, Sully narrates a look into the future.
