This spatula could only be pulled out by a fry cook worthy enough to cook for Neptune himself. SpongeBob pulls the spatula out with ease, and is excepted to move to Atlantis as Neptune's fry cook! But, when Neptune tells SpongeBob he cannot bring his friends, SpongeBob starts to reconsider. Will SpongeBob leave his friends behind?

On the way to exam they meet Jack and Emily pays for him to do the exam as well. Ilse tries to play matchmaker to get Jack and Emily together so she can go after Teddy.

A 21-year-old man claims to be Oswald's son, the result of a fling at a summer tap dance camp. However, the man bears a striking resemblance to Lewis. Lewis admits to Drew and Kate that he also slept with the girl. He believes that he must be the father, but Oswald argues that Robert actually looks like his mother. The guys arrange for separate outings with Robert, but begin bickering about ""custody"" issues. They finally decide to take a DNA test to find out which of them is the real father. Robert reveals that he is married and has a child of his own, and finally sought out his father because the baby doesn't have a grandpa. He is perfectly happy to have Lewis and Oswald share father/grandfather duties, so they decide to save their friendship by tearing up the results of the paternity test. Meanwhile, Drew's decision to allow the employees to put together the store newsletter proves disastrous.

Pendelton University has a new chancellor, who causes anger when he cuts funding and takes away tenure, so Dick holds a meeting, in which he convinces the faculty to resign en masse. Unfortunately, the chancellor accepts the resignations and leaves everybody in the faculty, bar Dick - who withdrew his own, without a job. Upon finding out about his betrayal, the faculty protest outside Dick's classroom and Mary refuses to be seen with him. Meanwhile, Tommy begins working at a pretzel store with his girlfriend Alissa, but begins to dislike working with her and gives Sally and Harry free pretzels, with which they start their own business right in front of the store.
