When Thundra finds out that one of her rain clouds are missing Iago finds out that business and pleasure don't mix.

Xavier St. Cloud returns, killing Immortals with the help of mortal mercenaries who shoot his prey, making his kill easy. His next target is MacLeod but, warned by Dawson, Mac and Charlie just manage to escape death -- though the dojo is all but destroyed in the gunfight. Renee Delaney, a CID agent investigating the mercenary angle, gets on the case. MacLeod goes after Xavier himself, and Charlie insists on coming along. During his battle with St. Cloud, MacLeod spots James Horton, the Hunter who killed Darius. Distracted, Mac is 'killed' and falls down an elevator shaft out of beheading range, and Charlie is badly wounded and lies near death. Blaming Dawson for helping Horton escape alive, MacLeod warns him not to cross his path again.

SELMA picks up the distress signal from an alien from another planet. The alien crashlands on Earth near a small town. Now Lambert has to get to him before someone else finds him. But a sheriff has seen the crash and rounds up a posse. Lambert manages to find the alien first, and hides him from the posse. Then the alien tries to leave Lambert. Lambert catches up, and the alien explains his reason for being there - love. His girlfriend crashed on Earth some time ago. But since their race age very quickly he has no idea what his girlfriend looks like. How will they find her, with the posse looking for them? And will she still love him?

Karen is having an interview at the mall for a jeans ad. The photographer is looking for a girl to promote the jeans ""with an attitude."" Al actually gets the job, which drives Karen crazy. Karen gets mad at Carol because she is not showing favoritism to her daughter (over her step-daughter). Carol is hurt and says that the whole Lambert/Foster family should be thought of as one family. Karen gets the point and is able to calm down Al with a ""family"" pep talk. Cody thinks he is the victim of some mysterious curse that makes him lucky at whatever he does, thus taking all the fun and excitement out of life. When Frank makes him play poker, the curse is re-activated. Cody wins $1,000 and a trip to the Bahamas, but breaks the curse by having an industrial accident in his van.
