When Jed finds this out, he makes sure the wedding won't happen.

Deciding to disguise themselves as mailbags, thinking this is the best way to corner Sam Jose. After unsuccessful run-ins with the train robber, Ricochet promptly thinks of a way to get Sam Jose.

After getting tired of feuding with Punkin’ Puss, Mushmouse decides to call in his cousins to help get the upper-hand. At first Punkin’ Puss is confused at how Mushmouse is able to outsmart him, but when he discovers that Mushmouse called his “kin” to help him out, Punkin’ Puss decides to call in his family to help him out.

Kimble is working as the caretaker at a spacious ranch in Connecticut which is owned by newspaper heiress Ann Guthrie who lives with her husband Harlan and her sister Ruth. Ann and Ruth's late father founded the Westborne Clarion, the newspaper that Harlan currently runs. Although Ann is the sole benefactor of her father's estate, she believes Ruth is entitled to part of the fortune. But Ann is unaware that the greedy Ruth is having an affair with Harlan and they plot to murder Ann and claim everything. When Kimble suspects Ruth and Harlan's plan and informs Ann, the skeptic heiress refuses to believe Kimble. Knowing that Kimble knows, the crafty couple plot to frame him for Ann's murder.

After becoming jealous of the attention Andy give to the new boy in town, Opie comes to Andy wrapped in bandages and tells him he and the new boy got into a vicious fight. One peek under Opie's bandages, however, tells Andy the fight may not have been as bloody, or as real, as Opie says.
