A Carcaroth has arrived on Earth, seeking soldiers to help fight his endless intergalactic war back home. Using Combat 3000 to sift out the best, most aggressive and instinctive fighters, he then transports them to his spaceship – awaiting transfer to the war. Clyde (David Anthony) and Luke (Tommy Knight) find themselves amongst the 'warriors', while Sarah Jane (Elisabeth Sladen) and Maria (Yasmine Paige) must infiltrate the alien's headquarters to bring down the Carcaroth from the inside.

When the concert finally starts, XANA attacks, possessing Sophia, in order to kidnap Aelita. He also possesses Milly and Tamiya for some extra help. While Ulrich battles the two reporters, the others work to shut down the tower, all while the Subdigitals' music plays in the background. Once the threat is over, Jeremie activates a return to the past so Aelita won't miss the concert.

Kaz's scanquest in the Crystal Range goes south when Pyrithion traps Blugon in an energy field before heading up the mountain to attack Raimusa. With Blugon unable to deliver to his friend the Battlegear and Mugic he needs to beat Pyrithion, Kaz must brave a treacherous shortcut to get the delivery to the summit in time. Tom battles in the Drome with a kid who has scans of the shortcut, and guides Kaz.
