Before leaving Sector 5, Odd and Ulrich are hit by a weird red beam from a pair of Mantas. They both eventually begin to act strange in the real world during a school play. They start seeing their environment, people as enemies, and fight as if they were still on Lyoko. They are branded as insane and hospitalized while Jeremie tries to figure out what happened. After finding the cause and devising a cure, Jeremie has Yumi and Aelita break them out of the hospital. Meanwhile, Xana uses their handicap to mount an attack on Lyoko's core. Yumi heads to protect the core, as Aelita tries to help the boys who instead now see the real world while on Lyoko.

A young woman dies after she starts bleeding from the eyes, nose, and mouth while at a party aboard a subway train. Mac originally believes she is the victim of a biological attack. Later, it is revealed that Sheldon knew the victim. Across town, a wealthy playboy is found dead in an indoor lap pool in his penthouse suite. The investigation reveals that he was murdered and his last maid was fired two days earlier.

After her husband collapses, the team believes the couple's illnesses are related. Meanwhile, Michael Tritter, a clinic patient, causes problems for House that could have serious ramifications.

It's Halloween and the NCIS team is busy investigating a ransom case. A Marine's daughter has been kidnapped after the kidnapper attacked a Marine in his home. The investigation leads them to a fact that the couple has been separated. They decide to focus on the wife's ex-boyfriend, after learning that the woman is the one who destroyed their marriage. Meanwhile, McGee and Tony are stunned by Abby's Halloween costume.

After the local sheriff advises her that her group is being looked at in connection with a recent murder, Benson decides to do a little investigating on her own and learns that the man was a pedophile. When she finally finds his private hideaway, it leads to a shocking conclusion.
