After seeing his young son Joey fall and break his arm in a playground accident, Jimmy fights through a burning apartment building to save a frightened boy of Joey's age. Meanwhile, a guilt-ridden Doc can't stay away from a recuperating teenager, Ryan Buckley, who was accidentally paralyzed while under Doc's care. Taylor is annoyed by a new probationary firefighter, Ken Prescott. Bosco and Yokas search for a drug addict who murdered his girlfriend.
Event: SOUTHEAST ASIA 1075 A.D. Sydney is out in the field looking for a relic while accompanied by a women's talk show hostess and her cameraman. Nigel and Karen are back at the office. Sydney is entering a temple when rebels in the local Gamora Heights district stage a rebellion. The men are after foreigners. Sydney and the others take refuge in the temple, while Nigel and Karen collaborate with the show's producer back home to try and get aid to Sydney. Sydney manages to get into the temple, but the rebels trap her and the others there. They make a makeshift flare, send up a signal, and the government troops arrive to rescue them. They find out that the soldiers never saw the flare, and it was due to Nigel's intervention back in the States that they were rescued.
Renee suffers an emotional breakdown after a high-rise attempt to rescue a woman and her baby from an atavus attack goes horribly wrong. Unable to shake the image of the crying baby falling to its death, Renee and Street check into a spa to try to relax. Her therapy is soon cut short as they find themselves being stalked by Howlyn.

Atlantis High is a teen comedy TV show, shot in New Zealand in 2001. The plot revolves around 16-year-old Giles Gordon, who has just moved to Sunset Cove, "a beautiful coastal surfing town where the sun is always shining, the people are all beautiful and everything is perfect... or so it seems." He enrolls in Atlantis High School, where he soon discovers that Sunset Cove is unlike any town he's ever seen: populated by double-agents, aliens and high school students with blue hair and pointy ears, its inhabitants are eccentric lunatics who at times turn into superheroes or other whimsical figures. Atlantis High both parodies soap operas and pays homage to spoof television.

He asks his parents why they didn't insist on a bar mitzvah for him. They tell him they trusted his judgment then, and that at the time he didn't think it was necessary or important. But Gordo has made up his mind now--he wants to be bar mitzvahed. The ceremony is held with all his family and friends in attendance.
