In these legendary meetings, Chief of Staff Harding Hooten leads a harsh, closed-door review of the complications encountered and mistakes made during the course of patient care. As the series opens, Trauma Chief Jorge Villanueva treats what appears to be an attempted suicide by car only to discover that the crash victim suffered a life-threatening brain aneurysm. Renowned neurosurgeon Dr. Ty Wilson is shaken by the case of 11-year-old Quinn McDaniels, whose soccer injury reveals a much graver problem. Workaholic Dr. Sydney Napur solves a case that had the rest of the hospital staff stumped. Meanwhile, Dr. Sung Park performs high-tech deep brain stimulation on a patient with uncontrollable hand tremors.

While Sunny creates a circuit training routine for her fellow classmates, Biingo tries to recruit more friends to his after-school sports club. Lindsay gives an anti-bullying speech to her peers, joined by special guest Cody Simpson, who also talks about his experience being teased before performing for the kids. The adult contestants compete in a crazy challenge requiring them to avoid three swinging pendulums while walking on a balance beam to retrieve calorie-coded plates matching five specific dishes.

Elsewhere, Maggie convinces Mouse to go with her to Sebastian’s Halloween party at the diner to help keep tabs on him. After Doritt’s attempt to sneak out of the house is thwarted, she discovers hanging out with her father isn’t so bad.

Frances loves collecting, but hates selling. Her upstate New York barns are packed with amazing stuff and she hasn't gone inside them for decades. The guys pick a closed-down family resort and after raiding the disco bar, they try making a deal. Technically, everything is for sale. However, owner Marylou won't get out of her car and threatens to take off if she doesn't like their offer. Charlie's awesome collection spans generations, but the barns and outbuildings that house it are all falling down. The guys dive in to salvage what they can but barely scratch the surface.
