As he comes around a corner in pursuit of a gunman, Davis shoots a man who is pointing a gun at Sully, unaware that the man is innocently returning the service revolver which Sully dropped when he fell. Davis's guilt leads him to doubt whether he should remain on the force, until Sully straightens him out. The tension between Bosco and Faith continues to escalate. Both Bobby and Jimmy introduce their new girlfriends to Kim, who isn't thrilled with the potential competition.

At the Taelon Embassy, Da'an shows reporters the Taelon Galactic Database. A sniper fires a Pulse Gun that penetrates the virtual glass of the embassy. Liam and Da'an are stunned to see gaping holes in the virtual glass that is impervious to all human weapons. Sandoval and Liam find the Hammerlin CD-57 Pulse Gun and the transducer. Sandoval tells Liam he does not want the media informed. Later, Sandoval informs Zo'or that he has leaked all the information to the media, as per their plan. Augur identifies Scott Pierce from a webcam as the shooter, but discovers that Pierce is a patient at St John's Neurological Centre. On the Mothership, Zo'or transfers his energy into Pierce's comatose body to convince humans to ban energy weapons that could threaten the Taelons.

As the Bailey takes Cleo and Lily away, Sarge and Hel try to figure out how to track them. They send a miniature satellite probe into the air to get coordinates for the Betrayer robot factory, but it attracts the attention of a Bailey. The two women are forced into a deadly game of hide and seek, until Voice launches a second probe, which draws the Baileys' attention. They infiltrate the Betrayer factory, in which Cleo and Lily have been strapped down. Human drones take vials of blood from Cleo and Lily, injecting it into vague humanoid forms gestating in nearby chambers. The forms suddenly morph into replicas of the two women and fibers cover the real women's heads, draining their life energy. Thankfully, Hel and Sarge attack, firing at the drones and doppelgangers, creating mass havoc in the Betrayer factory. They set the real Cleo and Lily free and set a grenade to detonate shortly. Ray thinks he's being the perfect father by taking an interest in Ally's Hackidu hobby, and advising her on the card swap, but she is disappointed as the Scramisaur is not only rare and valuable, but also her favourite Hackidu.

Eugene and Rebecca represent a woman who's suing a plastic surgeon when her husband dies during a liposuction procedure. They soon realize they're as much on trial as the surgeon when the opposing attorney makes several references to their race.

A panicked Noel distances himself from Ruby. Ben enrolls in Noel's philosophy section, at Dr. Pavone's urging. Ben tells Noel that he got a girl pregnant in high school, but didn't come through when she needed him. He urges Noel not to do anything that he will regret. Noel decides to take an active role in his child's life. The ultrasound reveals that Ruby is eight weeks pregnant; Noel realizes that he could not have been the father. Ruby confesses that she slept with a producer while she was away in Los Angeles working on the movie. She reminds Noel that they were not really a couple at the time, and pleads with him to give her another chance. Elena holds a party to re-paint the apartment. Everyone loudly discusses Noel's situation while he is trying to rest in his bedroom. Julie confides in Sean about the date rape, and admits that she never fully recovered. Section's newest target is the son of a wealthy industrialist, by the name of Helmut Volker, who is supplying drugs at his parties when not funneling arms to Red Cell. The twist is Operations and Madeline have figured out that Michael has "restored" Nikita, so Operations uses this operation to once again drive a wedge between Michael and Nikita. Helmut Volker must marry if he is ever to inherit hit father's business, so Operations orders Nikita to marry Helmut when he proposes! Meanwhile, Michael does everything he can to prevent that from happening.
