Lewis agrees to take some vacation time from DrugCo and try out the arrangement, but Oswald rejects an offer to work in the lingerie department. Lewis and Drew work on a plan to win over Oswald and Kate, but it goes awry. Oswald gives them his support in exchange for a larger percentage of the sale and a bunny rabbit. After accepting the checks, the gang discovers a sign in the garage that says ""4 Friends, 4 Ever, 4 Beer."" They are all saddened to see their dream come to an end. Drew tells Soulard that they want Buzz Beer back. Soulard demands much more than he paid, meaning that the gang will go into debt and never be able to sell the company again.

He grows even more suspicious after discovering that the storage locker with Jack's belongings has been ransacked. He goes to see Christine Pettit at the FBI and demands some answers. She agrees to investigate, but insists that the whole thing is just a coincidence. Although she urges Dylan to let it go, Kelly obtains a passenger list from the airline. Dylan notices that one of the passengers is named Eddie Waitkus. He explains to Steve that Waitkus was the real-life inspiration for ""The Natural,"" a story that was a favorite of baseball fanatics Dylan and Jack. Waitkus disappeared, only to suddenly resurface several years later. Dylan emphatically declares that Jack is alive.

Sarge is on an undercover mission at a mutant bar, pretending to be a stripper while she gets close to the grotesquely obese Sluggo. Inside the chest of the fat mutant is a pod containing the only known map of the entire underground system. Sarge charms her way near enough to attack Sluggo's bodyguards, then reaches into his chest and retrieves the pod. She runs, but a collar around her neck will detonate within ten minutes. In the levels above, Voice tells Hel to send Cleo down below to rescue Sarge, against Cleo's wishes. Mauser helps prepare Cleo by linking the computer to her brain and her weapons gauntlets. Cleo runs through various scenarios in her mind, each of which ends with Sarge's death. Finally, she must leave on the rescue mission, but now she is prepared for each obstacle. Hel follows and although Cleo rescues Sarge, they both need a hand from Hel to finish the mission. And once again, teamwork has won the day.
