Danny and Sam get into a fight, and when Sam utters the words, "I sometimes wish I'd never met you," she finds herself in a world in which she and Danny are strangers. Worse than that, since it was Sam who encouraged Danny to check out the Fenton Portal the night he got his ghost powers, Danny doesn't have any powers! Now, Sam must convince Danny that they share a friendship and a history, and lead him back to the Fenton Portal for a second "accident" so he can again become Danny Phantom.

Ryan built a shoe-carousel for his six months anniversary with Fran, so what can she give him? She goes for strip- classes, from obviously queer dance instructor Allan. Josh expects a surprise for his birthday on Sunday, so when she asks him to make himself scarce on Saturday 'for a girls book club' -actually to strip for Ryan- he assumes that's to be his surprise party. Ryan loves his self-unwrapping present, till Josh walks in on them. Alison's unorthodox 'self-expressive' school project has Fran, Ryan and Josh visit the principal- it's a piñata in the shape of the team mascot, which spills not just peppermints but also condoms, as a protest that the school budget for sex seduction was cut to pay for new athletic equipment. After witnessing the atypical family dynamics, which they all defend, Josh not quite, Sir decides she turned out better then could be expected and lets her off.

After coming home, Ash meets up with his old traveling friend Misty.

Bruno calls a halt to the training session amidst a torrent of abuse from Joly. Now parked up in his car Bruno and Joly are at logger heads over his treatment of the twins. He justifies his lavish gestures to Yasmin as making up for lost time – why shouldn’t a father buy nice things for his daughter. She reminds him that his name is on both of their birth certificates plus the certificate she pulls from her pocket and flings in his lap, it’s Joly and Bruno’s wedding certificate… and it’s still valid.

Tensions rise as a rivalry grows between two of the contestants, and when Chuck and Caitilin win the challenges again, they nominate Richard & Mindi for elimination for the second time, along with Lauren & Bill. The experience of having gone through elimination once already proves to be an advantage for Richard & Mindi, who survive, and Lauren & Bill are sent home.

His frustrations come to a head and he has a meltdown with a street vendor selling 9/11 memorabilia.

Her invaluable horse trainer, Pablo Betart, who once has a record too, convinces her to hire a new ranch hand- it's Kris(ten) Furillo, who needs the job to convince the judge to end her detention term for car theft and resisting arrest. Her horse-skills impress everyone, from old Henry and young but extremely astute Todd Ritter to the young men on the ranch, good friends Todd Ritter and Kenny 'Junior' Davis. After their best horse comes only fourth is a high-prized race, Jean doubts whether she can hold out financially.

After serving time at a juvenile detention center, eighteen-year-old Kris Furillo is given the opportunity to start a new life. Her talent with horses is recognized by a volunteer and local trainer, who arranges a job for her at the Ritter's family run ranch.
