Khadijah is anxious to use all the money to purchase a new computer for Flavor, and doesn't realize that Synclaire wants to use her half to attend a Harvey Keitel acting seminar. Synclaire spends her money without consulting Khadijah, who is unaware of her actions until the new computer is repossessed. Khadijah spends her share on a raise for Russell, and is furious at her cousin. She later learns that, although she had always considered Flavor their dream, Synclaire does not feel this way. She agrees to support Synclaire's aspirations. Kyle is outraged when he learns that Max has one more name in her little black book than he does. Max accuses him of being childish, but he isn't pacified until he discovers that he hasn't included Max in his book, while he is in hers. Tag: Overton watches Synclaire's naked acting demonstration.

The episode opens with Æon chasing Bambara, a vicious man who frequently causes injury or death to those he encounters. Æon, ignoring his victims, pursues him through a train and onto a building site. Bambara escapes Æon killing a construction worker in the process but is captured by Trevor Goodchild. He inserts a strange robot into Bambara through the man's navel and he suddenly loses his darker side, becoming friendly to those around him and quickly befriending an orphan. Trevor says the robot is a 'Custodian', an artificial conscience of his creation which he hopes to implant in all citizens. Æon then meets up with an organization of women who are opposed to Trevor's project who are planning to remove the implanted Custodians and bring the operation to an end. Æon goes after Bambara's Custodian ....

A visit from shady Grandpa Campbell has Ray keeping an eye on his wallet and on Lisa: his father has a crush on her. Meanwhile, Tamera turns tycoon when the elder Campbell helps her turn a school project into an exercise in greed. Ray has never been a fan of his father, who he perceives as an opportunist. But when Grandpa Campbell shows up, Ray makes the best of his visit. For the first time, Grandpa Campbell seems attentive to Ray and his family. Ray begins to see a new side of his father, as Grandpa Campbell gets involved with Tia and Tamera's projects for their school's entrepreneur week. When Grandpa Campbell leaves, Ray feels better about his relationship with his Dad, despite Grandpa Campbell leaving with some of Ray's money.
