Annabeth tries to build a case against a convicted criminal whom she put in jail years earlier after he is arrested for robbing a jewelry store. After he is arrested for robbery, the D.A.'s office learns that during the convict's escape from jail he murdered a guard and kidnapped a young woman whom he has held hostage for a year. During the investigation, Annabeth discovers inconsistencies in the kidnapped woman's story and uncovers a secret causing her to question who is really to blame for the prison-break and robbery.

When Brandy takes notice that some of her older outfits are falling out of fashion, Gaspar arrives and he shows her a new dress that he has, though he only offers to give it to her if she'll pretend to be his girlfriend while his mother is visiting. Brandy is reluctant to participate in the deal because she cannot stand Gaspar, though she decides to go through with the deal for the sake of the dress. However, Brandy soon discovers that putting up with Gaspar is too much even for herself, so she decides to use Whiskers in an attempt to drive Gaspar's mother out of the Amazon.
Mr. Whiskers brings home a small pet rodent after accidentally destroying its habitat during a game with Ed. However, Brandy is skeptical because Mr. Whiskers' previous pet parakeet and fish both died due to his negligent nature, though she decided that she'll give Mr. Whiskers one last chance in seeing if he can be responsible enough to take care of the rodent. However, when Mr. Whiskers falls asleep with the tree house door open, he frantically searches for the rodent in hopes of bringing it back before Brandy notices his absence.
Don and his agents are asked to investigate when a search team finds three dead women in the wilderness who were apparently murdered under bizarre circumstances. The case becomes more suspicious when Don learns the search team was led to the crime scene by a psychic. When the psychic offers to help the FBI in solving the crime, Charlie is determined to prove the psychic is a fraud.

Whoops! Yasmin shagged Cash on her living room floor whilst her boyfriend Seb slept next door. Luckily, hangover Seb doesn't suspect a thing, but he would have to be blind not to notice the cut on her lip caused by an overabundance of passion. He assumes that he must have hit her when he was drunk the night before and is mortified when she confirms that it was him. Seb is hugely apologetic and, although it allows Yas out of a tight corner, it does leave her feeling very guilty. Thanks to a video surveillance system, suspicion falls on someone taped entering the building and leaving flowers at the victims door, but forensics clears him. Suspicion then falls on the possibility that the perpetrator is a fireman when they find trace evidence of a fireman's uniform.
