Noel decides to take an active role in his child's life. The ultrasound reveals that Ruby is eight weeks pregnant; Noel realizes that he could not have been the father. Ruby confesses that she slept with a producer while she was away in Los Angeles working on the movie. She reminds Noel that they were not really a couple at the time, and pleads with him to give her another chance. Elena holds a party to re-paint the apartment. Everyone loudly discusses Noel's situation while he is trying to rest in his bedroom. Julie confides in Sean about the date rape, and admits that she never fully recovered. The twist is Operations and Madeline have figured out that Michael has "restored" Nikita, so Operations uses this operation to once again drive a wedge between Michael and Nikita. Helmut Volker must marry if he is ever to inherit hit father's business, so Operations orders Nikita to marry Helmut when he proposes! Meanwhile, Michael does everything he can to prevent that from happening.

An ex-army man, Cliff Eagleton, and his men, The Freedom Brigade, rob a bank equipped with fully automatic weapons and body armor. A Military Intelligence Officer, Lt. Garrett, reveals that he escaped from a court and killed a Texas Ranger. She also tells them that the guns they managed to capture at the robbery were supposed to have been scrapped at an Army base. Grace goes undercover at the base to find out why they were not scrapped and who on the base is involved. Sammo meanwhile teams up with Walker, a Texas Ranger, who is also after Eagleton.

After his daughter is injured in an automobile accident, Kelly takes her out on an plane trip to a remote cabin but then the small plane starts having mechanical problems. They land, but have no way of calling for help and she starts having complications from the first accident and may die. Hammer, Capone and Ice try to find them. Also Capone and Ice train in live fire hostage rescue exercises. Hammer is one of the trainers. Capone and Ice discover a skeleton beneath their house which they are renting from a hit man relation of Capone's who is in jail.

Sydney and Nigel go to Cairo to chase down the real tomb raider, when Sydney's old friend Bruce Farrow is framed for plundering the tomb of Thutmose III and pocketing the Pharaoh's diamond. The theft of the gem, believed to have fallen from the sky inside a meteor, lures mercenary Avery Ko, a rival Relic Hunter, from the shadows. The trail leads to Amsterdam, where the stone is to be cut and sold. Sydney, Nigel and Bruce discover that the rock is not a diamond, and if cut by laser, will unleash a force that could cause major destruction like the tomb's hieroglyphs described.
