Cow and Chicken wait outside the hardware store while Dad shops. Chicken is dying to ride the fighter jet plane ride. When Cow finally lends Chicken a quarter, The Red Guy takes the ride away. Chicken then stows-away on his truck, to ride the plane, but has to plug it up. Once at the gas station, he buys 20 extension cords, but the owner unplugs them. In the end, Chicken discovers that Dad actually collects those kind of rides.
Dick, Tommy, and Harry begin to notice that, since Sally moved out, their apartment has become filthy. Mary suggests that Dick hires her maid part time, but, to her annoyance, Dick ends up stealing her full time. When Sally finds out that she has been replaced, she is hurt. Norm loves Mr. Denby, the new boss, because he doesn't want Norm to do anything. Laurie on the other hand hates him. That is until he gives the job of co-supervisor. She hates the job when she learns she has to fire a co-worker, so she quits. Norm and Danny try to get her job back by getting Mr. Denby fired for racial slurs. Mr. Denby however never said anything wrong but Norm tells him that he's a Gypsy(which is a lie) and was offended when Mr. Denby said that he had gotten gypped. The trick worked and Laurie got her job back.
