Calhoun arrives in a small town to attend the wedding of an old friend. But he can find no trace of the man, and everyone in town just wants Calhoun to either leave or be killed, including the town boss, the father of the girl who was supposed to marry Calhoun's friend.

When a troope of Galactic Gladiators arrive on the planet, they challenge Professor Robinson to a duel, which will be aired all of the galaxy. John declines saying he isn't interested in physical combat. Dr Smith takes up the offer when he makes a deal that if he wins, he will be returned to Earth. Unbeknownst to him, if he loses, which is a near-certanty, Earth will be destroyed.
Trampas leads a two man posse to capture the brother-in-law of a friend in jail who is innocent when the Sheriff is injured. They encounter others who hinder their progress and an unhappy couple. But the big problem is Trampas' partner.
The Penguin appears to have gone straight. (Evidently the citizens of Gotham City have short memories; he tried the same trick in season one.) Not only that, he has emerged as the leading contender for mayor of Gotham City, thanks to a little-known provision of the city charter that permits felons to run for elective office. Mayor Linseed, facing almost certain defeat, convinces Batman to run for mayor. This displeases the Penguin, who doesn't want to leave anything to chance. He lures Batman and Robin into a trap and, by episode's end, things don't look good for the Dynamic Duo.
Carl Crandall is the wealthy and spoiled son of winery owner Pete Crandall. Carl stops a labor strike at the winery by killing the union leader and framing Morales, another worker, for it. Kimble happens by and witness Carl run from the scene of the crime, but he is unable to tell anyone because of his secret. Kimble tries to write an annoymous letter to the California District Attorney, but Carl's goons confiscate the letter. While Kimble tries to persuade Morales's wife, Elena, to help him report Carl to clear her husband, Pete suspects Carl of the murder and sends his two right hand men to keep an eye on Carl. But the two men are in league with Carl who orders them to murder Kimble.
Goober is involved in a minor car accident and thanks to Floyd and Aunt Bee, he becomes convinced that he is truly injured and has whiplash. Aunt Bee feels sorry for him and takes him home to care for him--much to Andy's dismay!
A well-meaning Jeannie has tried her best to please Tony, but her magic continues to cause problems. Roger suggests that Tony have Jeannie study Tales of Arabian Nights, claiming it will teach her how to properly use her gifts.
Calhoun must transport an Army unit which has captured the renegade Sioux chief War Cloud and is bringing him to stand trial for numerous murders. This comes at a bad time for Calhoun, as he is hoping to impress another passenger, a wealthy banker whom he hopes will agree to a loan for the railroad. The banker's daughter believes War Cloud is being mistreated. But a man who lost his family in one of War Cloud's raids plans to make sure the Indian dies long before he arrives at the fort, and is willing to fight Calhoun to make sure of it.
Gilligan wakes up with white hair, and thinks he overhears the Professor say that he has a rare disease that has made him age quickly (the disease? ""follicular albinism""). When Mrs. Howell attempts to fix the problem by dyeing Gilligan's hair brown, the dye causes his hair to fall out. A classic line occurred as the other Castaways tried to act as though they don't notice Gilligan's baldness … Mrs. Howell's famous breakfast order: ""I think I'll have a hard-bald egg."" Later, the Skipper exhibits the same symptoms. The Professor determines the problems are caused by the crude bleach that Gilligan and the Skipper have been using while washing the castaways clothing.
A candidate for governor, Joshua Hawks, who had been traveling up and down California spreading lies and causing trouble, comes to Stockton.His target this time, The Barkleys, his story, that Tom Barkley stole every inch of land that they own. He chose the wrong family to mess with this time though, because the Barkleys don't lie down for anyone they come out fighting. Against the wishes of his campain manager, the man who fabricated the story, he decides to, foolishly, stay and fight. Jarrod decides not to bring about a libel charge against Hawks, knowing that it would only result in a long drawn out court battle. Instead he asks the senator to form a committee of four men to decide on the case. Hawks cooks up a scheme to murder the committee and blame it on the Barkleys, he even kills his campaign manager when he decides to leave him, after he has found out Hawks' plan. The plan backfires however and Hawks' ends up getting himself killed instead. In the end The Barkleys get the good
There is a murder mystery to solve after Dena Fuller (Elizabeth Ashley) ends her ski romance with Johnny Cadell (Tom Simcox), and sails back to the US with Paul, finding Johnny's unpleasant brother Charles (Skip Homeier) on board - and his wife dead when they arrive in New York.
