Meanwhile, Logan downloads a Swagger app on his phone, which increases Logan's swagger and decreases James', causing James to almost "die" from dangerously low swagger counts. Carlos takes advice from a parrot, and when he is about to go on a date with a girl, the parrot tells him he has 24 hours to live, horrifying him and leaving him to live in the bathroom (Panic Room) of the apartment. The boys must now do whatever it takes to get back control of Big Time Rush, and make Gustavo get back to normal before the New Town High producers come and find that he has not written a good song.

Joey-Lynn and Glenn had Samantha when they were teenagers themselves, and feel as if they have failed as parents since Samantha had a promising future that has been changed by her young motherhood. Samantha and her next-oldest sister, Brooke, 17, despise each other and curse at each other in front of the younger siblings -- Savannah, 10, Hailey, 6, and Haidyn, 1+1/2 -- who in turn act out with boundary-pushing and aggressive behavior. Mom defers all discipline to Dad, who simply yells and doesn't follow through.

Max quits the society because he finds out that they are taking advantage of him. Alex and Justin transform into Max in an attempt to change the date of the family wizard competition back to it's original date and succeed. In the end of the episode they accidentally turn Max indefinitely into a little girl.
