He buys a gun and heads for Marchette's house in the hopes of learning the new location. Kelly balks at sleeping with Matt. She helps out with David's radio show and advises listeners to take relationships slowly. She promptly spends the night with Matt. Steve puts on a seminar offering techniques on how to pick up women. His students express dissatisfaction at their results, but David scores with a line about a dead grandmother. Gina stirs up trouble between Donna and her mother. The mayor submits a personal ad in a newspaper as the rest of the office men prepare for the mayor's annual male bachelor charity auction. Mike chooses to spend some extra city money on a futuristic new bathroom for City Hall. The new bathroom is insensitive to overweight people. The mayor asks Paul for advice on how to approach a woman. Stacy teaches James how to model so that he can garner more money than Mike in the big auction. Mike puts on a fat suit to appease the head of the overweight person's commission. Stuart's sister is in town but no one has seen her.

When Maya's first love John Kenny pops back into town, she becomes as happy as she's ever been, as the two find their old spark back in full force. However, Jack is angry about the whole thing, as he still has not forgotten when he walked in on the two of them fooling around one time. Maya then learns the true horror of the situation- the only reason they were separated in the first place was because Jack had pulled strings to get him into the Royal Shakespeare Company, and she becomes instantly fearful that he will once again begin to interfere with their relationship. Meanwhile, Finch uses a ""tough love"" method to train a new intern while Nina's television appearance is ruined when an old allergy acts up.

Del strikes out, but Annie finds an obliging man mountain she'd ""like to hire a team of sherpas and climb.""

The League of Gentlemen is a British comedy television series that premiered on BBC Two in 1999. The show is set in Royston Vasey, a fictional town in Northern England based on Bacup, Lancashire. It follows the lives of dozens of bizarre townspeople, most of whom are played by three of the show's four writers—Mark Gatiss, Steve Pemberton, and Reece Shearsmith—who, along with Jeremy Dyson, formed the League of Gentlemen comedy troupe in 1995. The series originally aired for three series from 1999 until 2002 followed by a film in 2005. A three-part revival mini-series was broadcast in December 2017 to celebrate the group's 20th anniversary.
