MacGyver returns to his home town of Mission City, Minnesota to meet up with two old friends, Chuck and Neil, so they can dig up a time capsule they buried twenty-five years before. However, MacGyver is hesitant to dig the capsule up because he is still haunted by the death of his old friend Jesse, who died when MacGyver was young. But now MacGyver has another problem to deal with. Chuck's and Neil's sons, Danny and Sean, have gotten wrapped up in a drug deal, and the dealer is after Danny. Danny takes off to hide, and now MacGyver must find him, before the drug dealer does.

Pamela Tudsbury and her father Alistair are in Egypt where he is reporting on the Eighth Army's defeat of Rommel's Afrika Korps. The Russians are putting up stiff resistance on the Eastern Front and Hitler approves a new battle plan. At Auschwitz, the Nazi's complete construction of the gas chambers and the crematoria. Berel Jastrow and Sammy Mutterperl are transferred to a new work gang. In the South Pacific, Pug Henry's ship, Northampton, is severely damaged in an encounter with the Japanese.

Naomi arrives for her interview full of new ideas for the store. Problem is there are several job requirements that she didn't count on when she applied. Like, for instance, having to make it with Mr. Woods if she wants the promotion or for that matter to even keep her old checkers job. She's horrified and it takes a while before she can explain to Mama and Iola what exactly happened.

Hunter is an American police drama television series created by Frank Lupo, and starring Fred Dryer as Sgt. Rick Hunter and Stepfanie Kramer as Sgt. Dee Dee McCall, which ran on NBC from 1984 to 1991. However, Kramer left after the sixth season to pursue other acting and musical opportunities. In the seventh season, Hunter partnered with two different women officers. The titular character, Sgt. Rick Hunter, was a wily, physically imposing, and often rule-breaking homicide detective with the Los Angeles Police Department. The show's main characters, Hunter and McCall, resolve many of their cases by shooting dead the perpetrators. The show's executive producer during the first season was Stephen J. Cannell, whose company produced the series.

Mary is a star player of ""Family Feud""... in her house. She decides to try out for the show when it visits Washington D.C. Sandra also decides to try out, and when she and Mary argue during the interview, the producers decide to air a Neighbor's version of ""Family Feud."" She and Sandra pick teams from a hat and Sandra's team wins on the show. But in the final round, they only make 199 points-- one point away from 200, which was needed to win. Sandra decides to split the money they won (almost $1000) among everyone on both teams.
