Meanwhile, Dr. Kelso assigns Dr. Cox to assist Ted with malpractice claim paperwork after Dr. Cox insults Dr. Kelso's son.

Logan and Barek investigate after the body of eighteen-year-old violinist Laura Booth is found stuffed in a shaft, her fingers covered with cocaine and resin. Although initially they believe her death may be connected to the cocaine that some of the crew were transporting, they're soon turned on to a romantic relationship between the maestro, Julian Reinhardt, and the victim's mother, Gillian Booth. Once teethmarks are found on Reinhardt's back that belong to Laura, Logan and Barek think they may have a slam dunk on their hands until Gillian weds her daughter's supposed killer.

Lilly re-opens the 1929 case of a woman found dead in a ravine on Christmas Day when the victim's great-granddaughter comes in asking for help. Meanwhile, Lilly's estranged mother shows up, hoping to re-connect with her daughter.

At the power plant a movie is shown where the workers endorse outsourcing and Mr. Burns announces that he is closing the plant and moving the work to India. Homer is the only union employee left on the payroll and he is sent to India to train the replacement workers, when he succeeds beyond expectations, he is given total control of the plant and declares himself a god. Meanwhile, Selma & Patty take Bart and Lisa to their MacGyver convention. When they discover Richard Dean Anderson doesn’t like MacGyver and much as they do, they kidnap him in retaliation. Anderson escapes only to enjoy the thrill and he turns himself back in so that he can escape again. When it happens over and over again, soon Patty and Selma are the ones who need a means of escape.
